House Rules
GENERAL
- Saturday and Sunday the stable closes at 19:00, on weekdays the stable closes at 10.00PM (except for Tuesday, the stable is then closed after the last jumping lesson)
- In the stables and at the hay barns smoking is not allowed
- It is forbidden to run and yell at the stables
- Dogs must be leashed (but beware: Ghizmo is not that nice to other dogs) and are not allowed in the tavern (except Ghizmo)
- Being present at Stal Prinsenburg and participating in lessons/activities is done at your OWN RISK
- Management can under no circumstances be held liable for any accident, loss, theft and / or property damage
- The guest fee must be paid before or on the 1st of the month
- The lease contract is annually renewed, with a mutual cancelation period of one month
- reservation fee per stable is 225 euros each month
- You are a guest on the grounds of Stal Prinsenburg and are kindly requested to keep this area as clean as possible
- Caused damage and destruction must be paid to the owner
- The staff only carry out assignments given by the management. Special requests can be made known to the management
- Be aware of the nature and only ride on the bridle paths when going to the forest
- The path left right before the railway is forbidden for horses
- Due to the safety of your fellow humans and horses it is prohibited to drive faster than 10 km per hour on the grounds of Stal Prinsenburg
- Your trailed must be ensured and locked when putting it in storage. The trailer is on our site at your own risk
- Smoking is ONLY permitted at the picnic tables near the front door or on the terrace
- Cancelled lessons without 24-hour notice may be charged
- When riding, the arena rules should be obeyed
- Instruction from outside is permitted in consultation with Stal Prinsenburg, see next line
- On Stal Prinsenburg it is only allowed to teach when the required qualifications and insurance are met (copies of which, must be present at the management)
- The lessons given by Stal Prinsenburg always have priority towards other instructors
- Obeying these rules is important for everyone's enjoyment and safety
STABLE
- Without permission you are not allowed to take straw, hay or food
- Before the horse / pony exits his or her stable the hoofs need to be scratched out
- AIf the horse manures outside his or her stable, or if their hoofs have been scratched out outside of their stable, you are kindly requested to clean it up
- Without permission you are not allowed to remove manure from the stable itself
- You are requested to clean the horse showers after finishing
- Only biks is allowed in the feeding bowl. Any other food should be fed to the horse using an own bucked or food bowl on the floor.
- No blankets or other objects should be hung to the stable
ARENAS
- Lunging is only allowed in the designated paddocks
- Casting off and lunging only in the paddock or in the dressage arena (outside, only under supervision and with the power on. The power button is located on the right side of the entrance. Do not forget after finishing to turn the power off again). Any holes in the arena should be filled up again
- Give other people the opportunity to also be able to cast his or her horse(s) off, if there is someone waiting, don’t take too long.
- Riding a horse goes for casting a horse off (but this can always be consulted with one another)
- If someone is riding in the outside jumping arena, discuss with them first if they are okay with you casting off your horse
- Leave the obstacles in the jumping arena in the same condition you found them.
- If your horse manures in one of the in or outside arenas, please be so kind to clean it up.
- In the indoor arena the manure has to be cleaned immediately
- If you're the last one to leave the arena (in and outside) please be so kind to turn the lights
ARENA RULES
- Those having a lesson, have priority at all times
- Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Any liability for damage caused while using the facilities of Stal Prinsenburg, by not wearing a cap or any other cause is unconditionally excluded!
- When entering or exiting an arena, this has to be loud and clearly announced beforehand
- Getting on and off a horse has to be done in the middle of the arena
- Do not walk or stop on the hoof beat if other riders are also riding in the same arena
- Always keep a safe distance from each other
- If you are riding on the left hand side, you have priority on the rider that rides on the right. So keep right
- An exception is when the rider is trotting on the right or galloping and if the other rider is walking on the left hand
- When practicing side movements you have priority on the other riders
- Kindly request to whoever was last to leave the arena to turn out the light
